There is no better way to stop smoking-makes a thing?

A question that most smokers hoping to leave would like to know the answer is "what is the best way to quit smoking?"-and rightly so. The average smoker that sai has seven attempts over several years to achieve its goal of becoming smoke free. During this time, they will suffer many crises of low self-esteem because they usually fail again and again. It can be an objective of destroying the soul.

When I was a smoker I tried stop smoking about three times per year. Once each year new, and then again on my birthday in May and again at the same time on my summer vacation. I tried Peru cold more times than I care to remember and never got past 9 pm on the same day that I stopped.

Was convinced that the nicotine replacement therapy was the key. Mass advertising and the swathe of public opinion that surrounded NRT made me think that would be the best way to quit smoking. All this took me.

I tried nicotine patches about ten times. I never got more than a couple of days before I left ' exit '. I tried pads-disgusting. I tried the microtabs that left a ' fixed ' in my throat that was dirty. I tried the inhalator that did the same as the microtabs. I tried silver acetate which is supposed to make cigarettes taste horrible. It does, but also makes everything more taste horrible.

For me, the nicotine replacement therapy was not the best way to quit smoking. However, studies suggest that between 1/10 and 1 in 20 people who wouldn't have quit using only willpower alone, can leave with NRT.

I heard about Zyban (bupropion wellbutrin or) and that was it. The pill "panacea" I had been longing for. The bad news is that, when my doctor checked my blood pressure before prescribe it for me, my BP was through the roof. You see, smokers suffer from hypertension, because they smoke too. Is an inextricable. To use the smoking cessation aid, but you can't because you have smoking health problems. That's the irony for you!

Studies have shown that Zyban can help about 1 in 10 people stop smoking above those that would have close anyway, but for me it doesn't matter, was not the best way for me to quit smoking.

Now we have Chantix (or in the United Kingdom or Chantix varenicline) available and Pfizer, manufacturer, are claiming up to 44% of smokers to stop using it. The truth however is that these allegations are highly exaggerated. Thought help 1 in 7 initial quit attempts successful above those that would have succeeded anyway. However, the rate of long-term success is only about 15-20% which is far from the 44% alleged by Pfizer.

Stop smoking for a short period of time is a good thing for your body, but smokers don't want smoke breaks, they want stop smoking forever. In this sense, I don't think Chantix is the best way to stop smoking also.

What other methods are available? Well, there is hypnosis, cognitive behavioral therapy, acupuncture, laser treatment, herbal remedies and the old favorite-willpower!

Hypnosis is a proven method to quit smoking and can be used in many areas of ones life changing approach of some things. Although they are hard to come by statistical evidence, anecdotal evidence suggests that hypnosis can be a good method to stop smoking. To this end, can't say the hypnosis is the best way to quit smoking.

Cognitive behavioral therapy means "think-behave" therapy. Is a process of changing the way you think of something so that you can change the way you behave towards it. Is the method that I use in my own book about quit smoking.

People who quit using this method often a report ' know ' that they will never again another cigarette smoking. In terms of long-term success, if you quit using this method, you usually stay quit for good. But this causes cognitive behavioral therapy is the best way to quit smoking? I'll answer that later.

How to laser treatment, acupuncture and herbal treatment, there is no evidence that so whenever these methods are effective. It is impossible that someone tell if any of these methods are the best way to quit smoking.

Finally, there's the Peru cold. This is clearly one of the least effective methods to get you to stop smoking, but if you stop smoking, using a method without the support of drugs such as NRT, Zyban on Chantix, evidence suggests that you will be a long term happy non-smoker.

In response to the original question, I believe the best way to stop smoking is overcome your addiction to nicotine through the force of his character and using the focus of your mind. Absolutely everyone has willpower within them to beat smoking, but they don't believe in themselves and so they think they need support "chemical".

In broader terms, the best way to stop smoking is simply any method that works for you. Everyone is different and will find a different solution for them.

I know that people who simply have walked away from cigarettes on a moments Notice and never touched them again. Also know people who have succeeded with Hypnotherapy and know that only 4% of my own clients occupy me in my warranty. I know that the statistical evidence for the other methods. The point is, the best way to stop smoking is using the method that works for you and only you can know which method that is if you already tried this. So keep trying all methods until you find one that works.

As always, never give up trying to quit smoking.
